"Our chats at night" is a commissioned work for an interior design firm based in Singapore. It's been created following the broad configuration of 'Born again'. The color palette was developed to reflect the mood and tones of the bedroom, and is inspired by the colors of an Australian river and by the ocean reef, close to where the collectors' home is.
This original mixed media artwork, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands, metallic pigments, pearlescent pigments and gold leaf. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. It shines in different areas, depending on the direction of the lights and the time of the day.
Size: 83.5x66.1" (212x168cm) on wrapped canvas. It's signed on the back.
Note: Images with the work in different rooms are for explanatory purposes only.

Presentation
Francesca Borgo (b. 1970) is an Italian abstract painter whose practice investigates liminal thresholds — the spaces between erosion and emergence, stillness and movement, self and other. Working with layered combinations of acrylic, sand, and mineral pigments, she creates atmospheric surfaces that evoke glaciers, mist, sedimented terrains, and states of emotional transition.
Her work is informed by a background in cognitive neuroscience and psychology, grounding her visual language in an exploration of perception, authenticity, and the subtle ways we grow and open ourselves to others while remaining rooted in who we are. Her paintings function as meditative thresholds, inviting viewers into a slower encounter with presence.
Borgo has exhibited widely in the United Kingdom, the United States, and recently Asia. Her work was shown at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition (London, 2022), and she has presented multiple solo booths at The Other Art Fair (Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London, Dallas). Additional presentations include the Affordable Art Fair New York, and the Incheon Art Show in South Korea.
Her works are held in private collections across Europe, North America, and Asia. She lives and works in Treviso, Italy.
