About this piece, Natalya shares:

“I wanted to paint a woman who knows herself. Who chooses to be herself, fully and freely — no masks, no roles to play. Her red ruby earrings are a quiet symbol of that freedom, a choice to shine in her own way."

She adds:

“While creating this painting, I was thinking of all the women who stand for who they are, and what they believe in. Women like Frida Kahlo, whose strength and spirit deeply inspire me."

This vibrant portrait is rich in emotion and color. The woman's face is shaped with bold, expressive strokes — pinks, reds, yellows, and browns blending into each other like shifting emotions. Her eyes, deep and thoughtful, seem to look inward. The bright red earrings — like blossoms — glow against a green background, bringing warmth and contrast to the scene.
