Description
Some paintings are born from a place of stillness — this one emerged from a quiet memory.
"Where Grey Meets Gold" is a large abstract acrylic painting (140 × 100 cm), created with palette knife techniques and textured layering, capturing the interplay of light and grounded neutrality.
This piece explores harmony through contrast: soft washes of cool greys, smoky silver, muted taupe, deep charcoal, and earthy golds and beiges come together in a bold yet balanced composition. The surface is rich in texture, allowing the viewer to feel the process — like erosion, time, and movement sealed in paint.
While creating this piece, I focused on the emotional resonance of contrast — where calm meets warmth, and rough edges meet polished silence. It's a piece that changes with the light and mood of the space, offering depth without overwhelming.
Ideal for modern, minimalist, or luxurious interiors.
Ships unstretched (in a roll), carefully packaged for international delivery. Signature on the back.
