Natalya Mougenot   Best sellers

“Together Forward" by French contemporary artist Natalya Mougenot is a vibrant abstract figurative painting celebrating human connection, emotional movement, and the promise of a bright future.

In this work, Mougenot continues to refine her distinctive contemporary style, where bold chromatic fields meet simplified, expressive forms.

The painting depicts a woman and a man standing side by side, holding hands, their backs turned to the viewer as they face a radiant, sunlit horizon. Their posture suggests a profound inner bond — two souls moving forward together, supported by trust, companionship, and a shared sense of direction. As the artist explains, “I wanted to capture this feeling of walking toward something brighter, together — the quiet strength of being two."

Mougenot's signature use of bright, saturated colors plays a central role. The glowing yellows and reds of the sun, the vivid blues, greens, and pinks of the figures, and the warm tonal transitions all infuse the composition with energy, hope, and emotional momentum.

For Mougenot, color is a vital expressive force: “Color is how I communicate sincerity. When I choose bright tones, I'm choosing hope."

Her artistic process remains rooted in authenticity. Before any painting begins, an idea slowly forms — “a concept that grows bit by bit," she says, “always born from something true to what I feel in that moment of my life."

Nothing in her work appears by accident; each gesture is guided by emotional truth rather than strict planning. By embracing intuitive movement, she preserves the honesty and spontaneity that define her practice: “If I control too much, the authenticity disappears."

“Together Forward" captures the symbolic strength of walking into the future with someone beside you. The sun becomes a beacon of possibility, and the abstract figures — simplified yet expressive — embody the courage of moving ahead together.

Through vibrant colors, fluid contours, and emotional clarity, Natalya Mougenot offers a contemporary meditation on partnership, unity, and the luminous power of shared journeys.

Since 2022, her work has explored the theme of authentic connection — the longing for trust, truth, and meaningful bonds in a world that often moves too fast.

Over time, Natalya shaped her own visual language: expressive, colorful, intuitive, always rooted in emotion.

“Together  forward" is more than a figurative composition.
It's a visual poem about unity.
About standing together.
About the quiet strength we find in one another.
