Description
This captivating work presents a dynamic interweaving of abstract forms, evoking natural elements such as leaves or feathers. Against a richly textured background of reddish hues, the off-white lines create a striking contrast, conveying a sense of graceful, fluid movement. The flared and curved shapes seem to dance across the canvas, animated by an invisible breath. The artist's masterful use of color and light imbues the work with remarkable depth and intensity. This enchanting composition invites close observation, prompting the viewer to explore the harmony between chaos and order, embodied by this subtle interplay of color and form.
Presentation
From my life in Haute-Savoie on the shores of Lake Geneva to the Périgord Vert region where I settled in 2017, nothing predestined me for artistic creation. And yet, it was a part of destiny that led me to create my first canvases, and to want to do nothing else but paint, again and again.
A skills assessment helped me understand that art was the path to explore. The support process was lengthy because, being hard of hearing, I had lost all confidence in myself and my ability to achieve professional fulfillment. By instilling in me the necessary confidence to take the plunge, the artist within me was awakened!
A self-taught painter since 2021, abstract art naturally became my medium, thanks to the complete freedom it gives me to never restrict myself and to let my hand work. I paint spontaneously!
It is in the solitude of my studio that my canvases become what they decide to be...
