Description
I am Maria Ruisi, a contemporary artist born in Riga (Latvia). My background as an engineer and researcher in spatial design profoundly influences my artistic work: I conceive each work as a presence, designed to engage in dialogue with architecture and light.
Emerald Fracture is a contemporary abstract work built around a powerful central movement. The deep, nuanced greens evoke nature, water, and living matter, while the golden lines create an intense, almost telluric, visual flow. The whole offers a marked sense of depth and an immersive visual effect.
The artwork evolves according to the lighting and viewing distance, revealing alternately areas of calm and areas of tension. It integrates perfectly into a contemporary, minimalist, or designer interior, bringing character and elegance without excess.
Each piece is prepared with extreme care: custom protection, professional packaging, tracked and insured shipping.
Contemporary abstract painting on canvas mounted on a wooden frame.
Dominant colors: Emerald green, mineral white, touches of gold
Authenticity: Unique signed artwork, certificate included

Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
