Description
Convergence d'Or – Maria Ruisi – Original work on canvas 50 x 50 cm. 10-year Artistic Guarantee.
Convergence d'Or is a contemporary exploration of matter, space, and geometry. The work rests on a subtle balance between structure and freedom. Golden lines traverse the surface, creating points of encounter that guide the eye through the composition. The hand-worked material brings depth and relief, giving the canvas a physical presence that shifts with the light and viewing distance.
Inspired by modern architecture and contemporary minimalism, the lines seem to organize the space while allowing the material to express itself freely. This tension between order and spontaneity creates a work that is simultaneously calm and powerful.
Type: Unique original work (no reproductions).
Technique: Professional acrylic and artistic pigments with hand-worked textures.
Frame: Deep US floater frame (American box) creating a 3D effect.
Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm (Ready to hang).
Authentication: Signed recto/verso. Certificate of authenticity included.
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
