Papotage et prise de note, 2026

Alione

At Alione's, every place tells a story. With , the artist opens the doors to a light-filled interior where time seems to stand still.

At the heart of this seaside room, every object becomes the silent witness of a presence: a still-warm cup of coffee, an open notebook, a hat resting on the sofa, a handbag left beside the armchair... The conversations have only just paused—or are about to begin again. One can almost hear the laughter, the shared confidences, and the ideas hastily sketched down as the discussion unfolds.

But the story does not end there. On the wall, a landscape inspired by Vincent van Gogh quietly watches over the scene. More than a decorative element, this painting within the painting creates a dialogue between two artistic worlds. It reminds us that the places we inhabit are also shaped by the artworks that accompany us, the artists who inspire us, and the emotions they awaken within us.

Faithful to his distinctive universe, Alione brings together architecture, interior design, nature, and references to art history in a richly detailed composition where every element invites the viewer to slow down and look more closely. Through the large bay windows, the endless sea converses with the intimacy of the living room, while the artist's signature bold black outlines structure a space where reality and imagination merge.

More than an interior scene, celebrates those precious moments when words flow freely, ideas are born over a cup of coffee, and the most beautiful journeys sometimes begin without ever leaving the comfort of an armchair.
