Description
The instinctive and free approach is expressed here through a singular portrait.
The central figure stands out against a neutral gray background. The face, a tender pink, imposes a soft and mysterious presence.
The material is worked generously. The artist sculpts the paint to create relief and depth.
The use of mixed media allows for varied texture plays. Touches of acrylic and pigments intertwine to form the body and features.
On the right, a slender and minimalist character brings a playful note to the composition.
The whole oscillates between figure and abstraction, recalling the codes of raw art.
An organic form, mixing white and pink, floats in the upper right corner.
This 2025 creation plays on the contrasts between the density of the paste and the lightness of the black line.
Presentation
Self-taught painter Myriam Bourianne explores art as a realm of freedom. Free from academic constraints, she has built her universe on experimentation and a dialogue with materials. Her work defies categorization: from expressive faces to landscapes, from vibrant flowers to abstract compositions, she seeks above all to capture the essence of emotion. To bring her visions to life, she layers and blends acrylics, pigments, and ink, creating plays of transparency and depth. The use of materials is central to her approach: she sculpts the paint as much as she applies it. Each canvas is an invitation to experience the poetry of the moment.
