Description
There are moments when reality seems to open a window before us — not into another room, but into another world. In this painting, the endless sea meets a sky filled with light and movement, while sailboats appear among the waves, as if setting off on a distant journey. White seagulls glide above the water, enhancing the feeling of freedom, fresh air, and infinite space.
But the most unusual element of the painting is the window opening directly into the sky. A girl sits inside it, absorbed in reading. It is a small fragment of an entirely different reality — quiet, intimate, and deeply human.
The painting is built around a subtle sense of the boundary between the real and the impossible. The sea becomes a space of dreams, the window becomes a portal, and the girl becomes the link between two worlds. Perhaps she is reading a book about travel. Or perhaps it was the book itself that opened this extraordinary landscape before her.
Vivid shades of blue, turquoise, and white create the feeling of fresh sea air, while the unusual combination of the window, sea, and sailboats transforms a familiar landscape into an almost fairy-tale vision.
This is a painting about dreams, freedom, and the possibility of opening a window one day — only to discover an entirely different world on the other side.
Presentation
Irina: "I am full-time artist. I find my happiness in doing art. Art is a part of my soul, my energy, my vision of the world. I consider myself a multi-faceted artist, I like to experiment with materials. I realized that I can create beauty not only with paints. I create three-dimensional artworks with volumetric elements. I work in two directions: mosaic paintings and wall sculpture art. I use decorative found objects, mosaic, plaster, wood, shells, crystals, gemstones, anything that can realize my ideas. My art is full of life and joy. The main theme is a Woman, her life, thoughts, feelings, relationships with people and the world".
