A contemporary color photograph of a butterfly representing an exploration into the natural and man-made world. A caterpillar breaks free of its skin for a metamorphosis - it hatches into an exquisite creature, a vibrant butterfly that sips nectar from flower to flower.

From the transformative to the ephemeral, the birth and death of a butterfly is reimagined in a series based on a poem by the 13th Century Persian poet Rumi: ‘Whatever you know, or don’t - only love is real’.
