Despite photography remains his main form of expression, the author starts seeing some limits in this media to properly describe his altered and often dreamy vision of reality. In this series photography mixes with several other techniques (pastels, acrylic, pencil…) to represent the duality of objective/subjective, real and imaginary. This striking artwork presents a figure enveloped in a rich, bold red fabric that obscures the head and torso, creating an aura of mystery and anonymity. The drapery contrasts sharply with the backdrop of dark, intricate foliage, enhancing the vividness of the red cloth. Strategic orange rectangles are overlaid, adding a modern, digital feel and drawing attention to specific areas, suggesting themes of censorship or protection. The contrast between the naturalistic elements and geometric interruptions invites reflection on identity and vulnerability. This piece masterfully balances classical textures with contemporary motifs, engaging viewers in a dialogue between concealment and exposure.
