Description
A silhouette curls in on itself in a gesture of total surrender. The body wraps, creating an organic shape that occupies the space. A black dress with red and yellow floral patterns envelops the subject. This textile contrasts with the paleness of the skin and the simplicity of the background.
The artist uses acrylic to define sharp outlines and flat areas of bright color. The deep green of the upper part of the painting opposes the intense blue of the base. This chromatic division structures the composition and isolates the central figure.
The figurative style here focuses on simplifying volumes. The posture suggests deep introspection or a need for protection. The gaze is averted, accentuating the intimate aspect of the scene.
The balance between the repetitive patterns of the fabric and the softness of the curves creates a visual tension. The light seems to emanate from the body itself, illuminating the whiteness of the back. The whole rests on a harmony of primary and secondary colors. The work is signed Agur in the bottom right.
