Ali (2025) – Oil on Canvas, 20 × 20 cm

(2025) is a small-format abstract painting from the series . Measuring only 20 × 20 cm, it demonstrates how intimacy of scale can still embody depth, energy, and conceptual weight.

Executed entirely in oil, from the ground preparation to the final translucent layers, the painting reveals a textured surface that carries organic impressions. These tactile marks evoke associations with leaves, roots, or natural sediments, allowing the work to transcend its modest dimensions and achieve sculptural presence.

The palette is dominated by green, shifting between luminous highlights and darker, earthier tones. Subtle accents of yellow and muted browns enrich the surface, creating a rhythm of contrast and harmony. The effect is simultaneously meditative and dynamic, inviting the viewer to linger over the delicate transitions between light and shadow.

The title, , continues the conceptual strategy of naming each work in the series after a common first name. This choice forges a link between human identity and natural forces, encouraging reflection on their shared fragility and resilience.

As part of , is both an independent artwork and a concentrated expression of the larger series. Its compact size makes it an intimate object of contemplation, while its layered complexity and tactile qualities ensure a presence far greater than its dimensions might suggest.
