Description
An oil painting where movement prevails. A dense and swirling blue mass occupies the space. It evokes an airy fabric or a wave frozen in a dramatic impetus. To the left, a red silhouette surges forward. The contrast of colors emphasizes the tension between the human figure and the abstract element. The gesture is sharp, almost cinematic.
The text Libertad is inscribed vertically on the right side. The red letters stand out against the light background. This inscription brings a narrative and symbolic dimension to the composition. The figurative technique mixes here with a freer approach to the line.
The artist plays with the thicknesses of paint to create relief. The shades of blue vary from cobalt to deep violet. The neutral background leaves all the room for the central action. This painting from 2026 explores the notion of movement and liberation. The whole rests on a precise balance between dynamism and structure.
Presentation
I grew up in a family where art was predominant, but in a more recreational way.
My practice started with plastic art, and changed following repeated visits to my aunt's old studio. The passion was born amidst tubes of oil paint, brushes, and turpentine essence
I later discovered the world of the painter Pascal Cessou by spending some time in his studio and later, I took painting classes with Michel LHOTE for two years.
In my artistic journey, I have done interior decorations in acrylic, pastel, and oil paint, today I mainly do oils on canvas.
My initial training is in a higher education program in design and architecture, a more technical approach to drawing. I did eight years of interior design in a contemporary style, for a French design brand.
In 204, after a personal reevaluation, I obtained a state diploma, I also did humanitarian work
I have been painting for about thirty years and since May 2026 I have settled as a Painter Artist.
Women are the main subject of my art, even if I sometimes wander into other areas.
