This contemporary figurative painting with a modern touch and mix  of expressionism, brut art and naïf art depicts a scene of three women at the table.  This piece embraces my roots and my cultural background through having a special spiritual connection to the women I represent in my art.

I wanted to express an affection and a special bond which exist between these women who can be sisters or friends or a mother with her daughter. They are enjoying their special moment by sharing a  meal.  There are bananas , apples,  a baking dish, a bowl and a knife on the table.

Sharing a meal all together cultivates connection and polishes our emotional and spiritual being that supports our mental and physical self. This special connection through meal is the main idea of this painting depicting these three women at the table .  They are going to be more connected and more united while  sharing a meal together by being engaged in conversations and cultural tradition exchange.

The theme of women, womanhood and femininity is at the core of this  spiritual connection to the women I represent.

Behind this there is also my personal exploration of the potency of emotional transparency  which is based on multiple qualities such as strength, courage, determination, sensitivity, kindness and authenticity.

This artwork is done with acrylic paints on a cotton stretched canvas The painting was vanished to be protected from dust and fading.

The painting is sold unframed.
