Serenity of water lilies, 2024

This contemporary peaceful artwork "Serenity of water lilies " is done with a modern touch of expressionism, naïf art and impressionism.  This piece is my exploration of the world created by Claude Monet who depicted water lilies in his numerous art pieces.  I wanted to capture tranquility and peacefulness of a water lilies pond during a summer period.

This art piece features a pond with blooming red and pink water lilies which are floating on a green-dark blue water's surface.

I explore the beauty of these beautiful blooming flowers  with the use of  bold and vibrant colors. I use these vivid colors intentionally and with big pleasure as they totally transcribe my current mood and state of mind: these bright colors refer to intense, vivid strong emotions, high energy. I hope it will have a positive visual impact on my viewers.

The use of bright colors for me  is not just a simple stylistic choice, but it helps me to add dynamic and lively elements to my pieces.

It is a bold and eclectic mix of art which radiates striking colors, spontaneity, vividness.

I focused myself on the energy by working rapidly, vividly and freely by concentrating myself on the movement and on the mood of my hands.

This contemporary piece is done with oil paints on a stretched linen canvas.
