Description
Characteristics of the work:
Original work in extra fine watercolor on cotton canvas mounted on a frame and thick engraved Gesso.
This work features a sunset bathed in an intense red palette painted in watercolor. The sun is depicted in a semicircle, casting rays that dominate the composition, symbolizing power and grandeur. Cranes in flight cross the sky and add a vibrant dynamic to the whole. The sea, dotted with reflections, evokes diamonds floating on its surface. The artist inserts a poem, enriching the visual with a literary dimension. The words evoke the warmth and generosity of the sun, despite its imminent disappearance. This fusion of text and image invites imagination and reflection. It is the result of a collaboration with the poet Charlie Baudoin.
