Urban Asha is a contemporary sculpture in solid wood, signed PVettese, representing a stylized elephant in a dynamic pose, its trunk raised towards the sky. This expressive attitude, combined with a vibrant pictorial composition, gives the work a positive energy, imbued with movement, momentum, and lightness.
The surface is enlivened by a subtle interplay of vertical drips, colorful splashes, and chromatic overlays blending ochres, luminous yellows, deep greens, pinks, and touches of white. PVettese, a Parisian artist born in 1985, develops a unique artistic universe blending raw urban pop with vibrant expressionism.
Inspired by Monet, Van Gogh, Joan Mitchell, and Basquiat, she combines acrylic, spray paint, and oil pastels to create impactful works on canvas, cardboard, or in three dimensions (sculptures, 3D collages).
Her art explores matter and color to address universal themes such as nature, human diversity, and the energy of life. Winner of the Audience Award at the Printemps des Arts de Rosny in 2020, she is notably known for her murals at Les Frigos and Le Spot 13, as well as her exhibitions at the ERBK gallery.
Today, PVettese exhibits in Paris, the Netherlands, the United States, and her works even travel to China. Committed to her craft, she regularly participates in charity auctions, notably with "Faire ma p'art" and "Humy."
