Description
This wall sculpture repurposes an industrial faucet into a contemporary work of art where color becomes a true language. From a white faucet, topped with an emblematic red handle, a long, rose metallic drop flows with a mirror finish, suspended in perfect balance. Its slender silhouette and luminous reflections give the impression of a precious liquid frozen in time.
The contrast between the immaculate white of the faucet, the intense red of the valve, and the softness of the iridescent pink creates a graphic composition that is both minimalist and bold. The highly reflective surface of the drop captures the light and its surroundings, making the work evolve according to the perspectives.
At the intersection of pop art, industrial design, and contemporary art, this creation transforms an everyday object into a sculpture full of poetry. The pink drop evokes creativity, emotion, delicacy, or optimism, while leaving ample room for the viewer's personal interpretation.
Elegant, original, and resolutely modern, this work instantly attracts the eye. A true piece of character, it naturally finds its place in a contemporary interior, a professional space, or an art collection, where it brings a touch of color, refinement, and uniqueness.
Presentation
Santicri was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Trained as a surveyor and then as an architect, he developed a sensitivity for forms, structures and materials at an early age. This technical rigor, combined with a boundless imagination, naturally led him to sculpture.
Driven by a profound creative freedom, Santicri explores matter, movement, and texture. His works reflect a constant dialogue between construction and emotion, precision and spontaneity. Each piece is born from a poetic impulse, an intuition that the artist shapes to achieve the perfect balance between form and sensation.
Through his work, Santicri invites us into a colorful and sensitive universe, where modernism meets the sweetness of dreams. He seeks to convey what his eyes perceive beyond the visible: a subtle harmony between poetry and structure, between gesture and thought.
