Description
This vibrant work immediately captivates with its bold colors and expressive style. At the center, a human figure with an angular face draws the eye. The flaming, yellow, untidy hair contrasts with the bright red facial features. The figure, in a relaxed position, nonchalantly holds a cigarette, adding a touch of everydayness. The bold choice of colors, particularly emerald green and red terracotta tiles, accentuates the emotional dimension. The scene takes place around a table on which rests a bowl of soup, accompanied by a red bottle, adding a narrative dimension to the whole. The deliberately imperfect lines and fluid contours reflect a dynamism and spontaneity characteristic of modern art. This creation, both intimate and provocative, invites contemplation, revealing the subject's complex personality.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
