Description
Before the viewer unfolds a remarkable landscape of a small northern town, where colorful houses with red, blue, and yellow roofs are reflected in the calm water. Green hills rise behind them, while an expressive sky filled with light and movement stretches above the scene. White birds soar over the rooftops, adding a sense of freedom, air, and tranquility to the composition.
But the true story of the painting unfolds in its upper part: amid this unusual landscape, a window appears. A young woman in light-colored clothing sits inside, gazing thoughtfully into the distance, as if she herself belongs to another world. The window becomes a delicate boundary between the intimate human space and the vast natural landscape, while her contemplative mood invites us to imagine what she might be thinking about: perhaps dreaming of a journey, remembering something important, or simply enjoying the view outside her window.
Bright, contrasting colors transform an ordinary townscape into an almost fairytale-like world. This is a painting about home, dreams, and the desire to open a window one day — and discover a place beyond it where you would want to stay.
Presentation
Irina: "I am full-time artist. I find my happiness in doing art. Art is a part of my soul, my energy, my vision of the world. I consider myself a multi-faceted artist, I like to experiment with materials. I realized that I can create beauty not only with paints. I create three-dimensional artworks with volumetric elements. I work in two directions: mosaic paintings and wall sculpture art. I use decorative found objects, mosaic, plaster, wood, shells, crystals, gemstones, anything that can realize my ideas. My art is full of life and joy. The main theme is a Woman, her life, thoughts, feelings, relationships with people and the world".
