Judith Christine Riemer

Judith Christine Riemer is a mid-career artist from Germany, whose work has generated international interest in recent years. Since 2017, she has been featured in exhibitions at galleries, museums, art associations, and art fairs worldwide, including Dubai and New York. She is classified by Limna as an "Ultra-Contemporary, mid-career, undiscovered artist with trending local presence."

Riemer was born in 1975 and in 2016 decided to end her successful career as an interior designer to devote herself entirely to art. Since then, she has received a number of awards and publications. Her works have been published in magazines and art books in Belgium, Austria, Great Britain and Japan. In 2021, she was nominated as a finalist for the "Emerging Scene Art Prize Dubai" and her nominated works were shown on over 1000 screens by Elevision Media Group in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In addition, she was awarded a double page spread in the Japanese art magazine "365art+" in Tokyo.

Her artworks are not only represented internationally, but are also in private collections in Germany, Italy and Austria.
Riemer's artistic focus is on nature-based abstraction, she creates a fantastic universe that connects with the real world. She likes to be inspired by sensory impressions, and her intense experience of nature informs her work.

In addition to her art, Riemer also volunteers for art and culture in her hometown Nordstemmen, district of Hildesheim, in the Kunsthaus Nordstemmen e.V. as well as 2nd deputy chairwoman of GEDOK Hannover/Niedersachsen e.V..
