The artwork "Japoneses VII" delves deep into the testimonial core of "Act III. The Code of the Ballpoint Drawings (The Secret Messages)", fully integrating into the thematic axis of "Explicit Violence and the Breaking of Silence". In this drawing, the artist strips the scene of any male figure or allegorical device to concentrate the tension within a mirrored reflection of sheer dread: two contemporary female countenances confronted with trauma, where visceral distress and an explicit call for healing coexist upon the graphic plane.
Compositional Analysis and the Mirrored Reflection of Panic
The Climax of Terror (Psychological Doubling): The composition presents two young women united by a shared expression of panic and vulnerability: On the Left: A young woman styled with twin side buns and bangs framing her forehead. Her mouth hangs open in a hollow, cavernous scream; wide, terrified eyes rimmed with inflamed redness reveal acute shock before an impending or freshly inflicted trauma. On the Right: A figure with a clean-cut bob haircut, her gaze intensely fixed and her eyebrows arched in sheer alarm. Her parted lips reveal clenched teeth in a tense defensive grimace, while flushed, bruised marks around the eyes and cheekbones underscore somatized violence.
The Cerulean Contour Line: Consistent with preceding works in the series, both figures are outlined in an electric cerulean halo that cleanly detaches them from the decorative ground, emphasizing the psychological isolation endured by the victim of abuse.
Discordant Botanical Ground: Emerging behind the central drama are warm autumnal leaves in ochre and orange hues evocative of classical Japanese textiles. The warmth of the foliage forms an ironic and tragic counterpoint to the clinical, documentary coldness of the ballpoint pen and the raw violence stamped upon both faces.

Presentation
Eugenio Montoro Aybar (born 1974 in Granada, Spain, where he currently resides and works) is a distinguished visual artist, researcher, and educator holding a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Granada, specializing in pictorial techniques and artistic procedures. Throughout his established career, he has combined rigorous academic research and fine art painting with the direction of monumental mural projects and heritage conservation initiatives on both national and international stages.
Among his prominent monumental achievements is the direction and coordination of the mural and decorative paintings for the full-scale replica of the Alhambra of Granada at the Al-Yamamah Royal Palace in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), commissioned by King Fahd bin Abdulaziz. In Spain, he has led prestigious ecclesiastical restorations, including the monumental high altars of the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel and the Basilica of Saint Andrew in Granada, as well as the mural decorations of the Basilica of Lillo in Toledo.
