Description
Dynamic energy pulses through this acrylic painting. A central figure emerges from a chaotic swirl of color. Bold strokes of orange and red suggest a celestial presence. The composition radiates outward. It evokes a sense of spiritual ascension.
The artist blends her background in restoration with a modern multidisciplinary approach. This artwork explores the intersection of mythology and the multiverse. Layers of pigment create a tactile depth. Warm yellows clash with deep purples and earthy tones. The brushwork is rapid and instinctive.
The figure remains ambiguous. It oscillates between a human form and a divine entity. Light seems to explode from the top of the canvas. This creates a powerful vertical tension. The abstract style prioritizes emotion over precise anatomy. It invites the viewer into a metaphysical space. Every gesture feels intentional yet spontaneous. The piece captures a moment of cosmic transformation. This energy is anchored by dark, grounding strokes at the base of the composition.
Presentation
Born in 1986, Nino Bosikashvili is a Georgian multidisciplinary artist now based in Melbourne, Australia. She trained at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art between 2003 and 2009, earning a Bachelor's degree in Restoration of Fine Arts followed by a Master's degree in Multimedia Design — a dual background that continues to inform the technical and conceptual depth of her work. Her practice explores social and political realities, ecological themes, questions of identity, history and mythology, and human development. Since the early 2000s, her work has been shown in more than thirty exhibitions and collected by art lovers in many countries. She was recognised among the world's leading illustrators in the Australian publication Pictoria Volume 2, released by CapsulesBook. Moving between Georgia and Australia, Nino Bosikashvili has built a career spanning numerous solo and group exhibitions, artist residencies, and international collaborations, across painting, illustration and graphic design.
