Description
A vivid explosion of color defines this 2020 acrylic painting. Two ethereal figures merge in a cosmic embrace. One glows with a solar radiance. The other dissolves into deep violet shadows. This contrast creates a powerful tension between light and darkness. Swirling brushstrokes suggest a fluid, otherworldly dimension. The composition feels rhythmic and alive. It evokes themes of duality and spiritual connection. A bright golden star anchors the center of the canvas. This focal point radiates warmth against a backdrop of magenta and orange hues. The artist blends a background in multimedia design with a deep interest in mythology. The result is a seamless fusion of abstract energy and human form. Every line flows with an organic intensity. The artwork captures a moment of transcendence. It invites the viewer to contemplate the intersection of identity and the infinite. The piece concludes with delicate drips of paint that ground the celestial scene in a physical reality.
Presentation
Born in 1986, Nino Bosikashvili is a Georgian multidisciplinary artist now based in Melbourne, Australia. She trained at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art between 2003 and 2009, earning a Bachelor's degree in Restoration of Fine Arts followed by a Master's degree in Multimedia Design — a dual background that continues to inform the technical and conceptual depth of her work. Her practice explores social and political realities, ecological themes, questions of identity, history and mythology, and human development. Since the early 2000s, her work has been shown in more than thirty exhibitions and collected by art lovers in many countries. She was recognised among the world's leading illustrators in the Australian publication Pictoria Volume 2, released by CapsulesBook. Moving between Georgia and Australia, Nino Bosikashvili has built a career spanning numerous solo and group exhibitions, artist residencies, and international collaborations, across painting, illustration and graphic design.
