Composition From the Series, 2024

Nino Bosikashvili

A visceral encounter with nature. This 2020 acrylic painting merges the human form with an organic environment. A figure rests in a state of deep surrender. The body dissolves into the earth. Fluid greens and deep blacks create a moody, atmospheric depth. Swirls of golden yellow erupt from the head like solar flares or wild growth. These luminous lines break the heavy gloom of the upper sky.
The artist draws from a multidisciplinary background to explore ecological themes and mythology. Every brushstroke feels rhythmic and intentional. There is a tension between the stillness of the figure and the kinetic energy of the colors. The composition suggests a cycle of decay and rebirth. It transforms a simple landscape into a psychological space. The gaze is drawn from the dark horizon down to the textured, mossy foreground. This artwork balances technical precision with raw emotional power. It captures a moment of profound connection between the physical self and the natural world. The piece concludes with delicate, dark stippling across the lower green expanse.
