Witches 2, 2024

Nino Bosikashvili

A haunting vision of mysticism. This 2024 acrylic painting captures a surreal gathering within a fiery landscape. The composition is dominated by sweeping strokes of ochre and crimson. These colors evoke a field of dried grass or a distant, burning horizon. A pale figure stands in the foreground. Her gaze is distant and melancholic. She is draped in a ghostly white shroud that contrasts sharply with the warm tones of the earth. Behind her, other ethereal forms emerge from the haze. They drift like spirits through the wind. The brushwork is fluid and expressive. It blurs the line between the human form and the natural environment. This approach reflects a deep interest in mythology and identity. The dark, heavy sky above suggests a transition between day and night. This creates a tension between light and shadow. The artwork balances raw emotion with a refined technical precision. It invites the viewer into a dreamlike state. The scene is an exploration of the unseen and the spiritual. Every stroke enhances the atmospheric depth of the composition. The focus remains on the intersection of human existence and cosmic mystery.
