From the discovery of new talents to the exhibition of renowned artists, the resolutely original program of the Galerie Plurielle presents a selection of artists from three generations in the lineage of Free Figuration and Raw or Singular Arts.
Established since 2010, in the heart of the cultural center of the city of Sète (Hérault - France), the Galerie Plurielle, offers throughout the year, in two distinct exhibition spaces, two types of exhibition, permanent and event.
Its main line remains above all linked to the movement of "Free Figuration" which took its origins in Sète with pioneering artists from Sète, such as René-François Grégogna or Pierre François, now deceased. This movement, carried in particular by Hervé Di Rosa and Robert Combas, reached its peak in France in the 1980s. while it had developed under another label across the Atlantic, joining Street-art and comics, with Keith Harring, JM Basquiat, ...
Today, the horizon of the Sète school is 'expands and opens up to new port talents from the South American continent. Promoted exclusively by Galerie Plurielle in SETE, Boris OA, a young emerging artist, now joins the big names of this free lineage.
