Description
This abstract composition explores the depth of a monochrome palette. The gaze dives into a subtle gradient of orange tones. The material stretches in successive layers. The gesture is fluid. It creates areas of shadow and light that structure the space.
The artist works with nuance here with precision. The chromatic transitions are soft. They evoke a vaporous, almost atmospheric atmosphere. The center of the canvas captures a diffuse clarity while the edges darken slightly.
The visual balance rests on the absence of leading lines. Only the color guides the eye. This exploration of tonal variation brings a contemplative serenity to the whole. The acrylic on canvas allows to obtain this velvety and homogeneous aspect.
Created in 2011, this painting testifies to a rigorous technical mastery. The square format accentuates the stability of the composition. The final rendering is characterized by a play of transparencies and chromatic superimpositions.
