Description
This abstract composition plays on marked chromatic contrasts. A dark, deep background envelops a central mass of orange hues. This organic form seems to float, suspended in an undefined space.
The technique combines acrylic and India ink on paper. The work of the materials creates effects of transparency and saturation. Light, almost mineral touches, punctuate the bottom and top of the surface.
The visual balance rests on the opposition between the darkness of the void and the warmth of the pigments. Movement is suggested by blurred contours and fluid transitions. The whole evokes a chemical reaction or an astronomical phenomenon captured in an instant.
Created in 194, this work testifies to a research on light and density. The artist's signature appears discreetly in the lower right corner.
