Description
This abstract composition plays on a striking contrast of textures and tones.
A dark, deep, and uniform background occupies most of the space.
This matte expanse creates an atmosphere of calm and silence.
A horizontal line breaks this monotony at the top of the support.
The application of the paint becomes thick and material.
Touches of gold and white overlap to form a luminous horizon.
The metallic sheen attracts the eye and brings a precious dimension to the whole.
The oil work on canvas emphasizes the rigor of the composition.
The balance between the dark mass and the bright stroke suggests an opening towards light.
The work rests on a controlled sobriety where every detail matters.
The surface presents a light grain, typical of the textile support.
The contrast between the dullness of the brown and the brilliance of the golden pigments structures the image.
