Description
Space fades before a dark and deep background. A geometric composition unfolds there with surgical precision. A few vertical and horizontal lines intersect in the center. They evoke an architectural structure suspended in the void.
The contrast is marked. White and gold lines pierce the darkness. The rigor of the line dialogues with the density of the material. The balance is fragile. Each segment seems to measure the surrounding silence.
The work relies on the use of acrylic and India ink. The paper support welcomes these pigments with finesse. This abstract piece plays on the tension between the full and the empty. The light concentrates on a precise focal point.
The composition stretches vertically. A thin white line descends towards the bottom of the frame. The whole exudes an atmosphere of serenity and rigor. This creation dates from 1994.
