    I photographed the trees a lot, as one photograph of friends, family, almost without realizing it.

    This awareness of my tender and familiar relationship, sometimes childish in rediscovering the myths and legends attached to trees and the plant world, was the trigger and the beginning of the series exhibited today. The tree and the forest are the world of mystery, tales, fairies, gods. They look like us, they are alive, they are our ancestors, they protect us.

    On the occasion of this exhibition we published a book created with Michel Scognamillo, “C'est l'Arbre”. Michel, from quotes going from antiquity to today, is the author of a text full of poetry which makes us rediscover the magic and the spell of trees and the forest. Graphic designer and photographer.

Addicted to photography since my adolescence, I have always photographed in black and white and in film.

I like the long time of film, of the eye which hooks instinctively, in weightlessness, to the emotion of discovering the result.

For me, photography is sharing the poetic sensation of an image and letting oneself be carried away by its imagination, a form of drift.
