Ellie Sass was born in Athens (Greece) in 1973. She has studied French Literature in Sorbonne University (Paris IV) and Theatre, Fine Arts & Photography, primarily in seminars. She has lived in Monaco and in Greece. She speaks Greek, French, & English. Today Ellie Sass lives and works mainly as a Fine Art Photographer in Greece. She is interested in Visual Arts and in Theatre as well. She considers herself mostly a Self-taught Artist, as the creation process has always been hers, with some technical help from her Art professors. In her personal or group photography sessions, portraits, dramatic concepts and self-expression are combined in order to create expressive photography and have healing results as well. Her studies and experience in acting are an impactful tool in her creative process. As a Visual Artist, Ellie Sass is mainly anthropocentric. She creates Paintings (using materials as pencil, carbon, oil and acrylic), Collages & Mixed Media Artworks. She also loves to create 'Εmotional Cycles from Darkness to Light' through Visual Art Photography Series.
Since 2010 Ellie Sass has participated in multiple exhibitions - as a Fine Art Photographer or a Visual Artist - in Athens ('Vivarte', 'Athens Art Studio'), in Rome ('LoonsenArt') and in London ('The Brick Lane Gallery').
In 2022 she became a partner with 'Artsper' – the European platform for online Contemporary Art Sales. Ellie Sass has been working on various projects at this moment. Her main axis is Spirituality. She has always felt that Art and Spirituality are connected – as Art is the result of inspiration, and inspiration in itself has its basis in Spirituality. Her faith in Jesus Christ gives her motivation to create artistically and to fulfil her purpose in life.
