Description
The horizon is drawn with minimalist precision. This oil painting on canvas captures a space suspended between sky and earth. The gaze glides over a white and luminous expanse. A ribbon of deep blue comes to break the monotony of the landscape. This dark line evokes a distant border or a forgotten relief.
The work focuses on simplicity and serenity. The shades of white interweave to create a sensation of atmospheric depth. The horizontal composition brings immediate calm. The artist plays with the fluidity of the material to suggest a mirage. The light seems to come from within the canvas itself.
The balance of masses emphasizes an abstract and contemplative approach. Each brushstroke structures the void with accuracy. The contrast between the clarity of the background and the intensity of the blue centers attention on the infinite. This composition dated 191 favors the sobriety of forms and chromatic purity.
