Description
Space opens here onto an abyssal depth. Blue dominates the composition. It extends in nocturnal shades. Fine golden particles are scattered across the surface. They evoke a distant firmament. The gaze gets lost in this stellar expanse.
The material is worked with precision. Acrylic mixes with mixed media on paper. A central circle seems to emerge from the bottom. This shape suggests a source of diffuse light. The contrast between the dark blue and the bright sparkles creates a constant visual rhythm.
This abstract painting dates from 2013. It testifies to a research on light and void. The gesture is mastered. The balance of tones brings a contemplative serenity. The signature and the date appear discreetly in the lower right corner.
