Description
This abstract diptych plays on chromatic duality and repetition. Two vertical panels respond to each other through a play of horizontal lines. On the left, earthy and rosy tones intertwine. On the right, a deep blue dominates the composition.
The artist structures the space through successive strata. Each band seems superimposed with precision. The line, slightly irregular, brings an organic dimension to the geometric rigor.
The oil technique on canvas allows for soft transitions. Light glides over the surfaces, creating an effect of calm depth. The dialogue between the two paintings rests on the balance of masses and the symmetry of forms.
The whole evokes sedimentary landscapes or distant horizons. This composition from 2002 explores serenity through a minimalist approach. The pigments blend to form translucent layers. The final rendering is characterized by a restful visual harmony, rhythmic by fine and dark lines.
