Description
This ink drawing explores a rigorous geometry. The composition revolves around a central rhombus. Fine and precise lines structure the white space of the paper.
The line alternates between strict straight lines and fluid curves. A play of dense hatching creates zones of contrast and depth. Light yellow touches punctuate the surface, bringing a subtle nuance to the whole.
The visual balance rests on a controlled tension. The shapes interweave with mathematical clarity. The precision of the line reflects an analytical approach to abstraction.
This piece dates from 1986. It testifies to a research into the harmony of lines and the management of void. The work ends with a discreet signature in the lower right corner.
