Description
A rigorous geometric composition. The eye scans an assembly of rectangles and vertical shapes. The deep blue of the background underlines the structure. Ocher and brown tones intertwine in a play of superposition.
The artist uses chalk, paper, and India ink here. The line is sharp. The visual rhythm evokes a textile interweaving.
The balance of masses creates a controlled tension. Fine lines traverse the blocks of color, adding graphic depth.
The whole rests on imperfect symmetry. The material brings a subtle relief to the colored surfaces.
