Description
This abstract composition explores a deep dialogue between shadow and clarity. Blue dominates the space. It asserts itself through dense touches and vaporous areas. Black structures the background. It creates a sharp and dark contrast.
The work relies on a meticulous superposition of materials. Acrylic mixes with mixed media on paper. The visual rendering evokes a grainy texture. Glints of light seem to cross the darkness.
The gesture is assured. The eye circulates between the dark masses and the luminous areas. The balance is played out in the opposition of cool tones. The final rendering suggests an abyssal depth.
This piece dates from 2013. It bears the artist's signature and the date in the bottom right.
