Description
This abstract composition plays on a marked contrast between shadow and light.
The frame is divided into two distinct areas.
The upper part is illuminated by a solar yellow, evoking the clarity of a morning.
A grainy and dense texture rhythms the entire surface.
The bottom of the canvas plunges into earthy and dark tones.
The visual balance rests on this subtle chromatic transition.
The artist uses acrylic and mixed techniques on paper.
The work of the material brings a tactile relief to the image.
The gesture is precise, almost organic.
This piece dates from 2013.
A monogram and the date appear discreetly in the bottom right.
