Description
The abstraction here unfolds as a dense textural exploration. The gaze plunges into a dark, almost telluric material. Shades of brown and ochre emerge timidly, like glows filtering through a nocturnal veil.
The work in acrylic and mixed media creates an organic grain. The grainy surface captures the light irregularly. This play of subtle contrasts suggests an abyssal depth, between shadow and clarity.
The controlled gesture structures the space without ever freezing it. The composition rests on a delicate balance between saturation and transparency. The whole exudes a contemplative serenity, characteristic of the artist's rigorous approach.
This painting on paper, created in 2013, is distinguished by its chromatic sobriety. The bottom of the composition reveals the signature and the date, anchoring the work in its moment of creation.
