Description
Abstraction unfolds here through a delicate play of transparencies and superimpositions. The fine, nervous line guides the eye into a space where the forms seem to float. A central mass, treated with a soft luminosity, attracts attention. It is surrounded by organic lines and geometric hatching.
The palette favors earthy tones and shades of olive green. Touches of brick red rhythm the composition with transverse bands. The technique mixes the precision of India ink with the softness of chalk.
The visual balance arises from this contrast between structural rigor and graphic freedom. Each area suggests a subtle relief on the paper. The final rendering evokes a dreamlike landscape, suspended between sketch and painting. This work dated 197 testifies to a successful formal exploration. The rendering is accentuated by the granularity of the support and the finesse of the black lines.
