Description
The gaze plunges into a dense and organic material. The paper becomes the stage for a chromatic exploration where shades of ochre and yellow dominate. The India ink unfolds on it with precision.
The gesture gives way to intentional stains and diffusers. Dark pigments emerge, creating a deep contrast with the luminosity of the background. The composition evokes mineral textures or landscapes seen from the sky.
The balance plays between the full and the empty. Each shade of amber seems to float, suspended in a velvety atmosphere. The work on transparency brings a spatial dimension to the abstraction.
This piece, created in 194, testifies to a rigorous technical research. It reveals a mastery of the dosage of ink and water. The final rendering oscillates between the rigor of the line and the freedom of the stain.
The visual balance rests on subtle variations of earthy tones. The artist's signature integrates discreetly in the bottom right of the support.
