Description
This abstract composition plays on superposition and relief. The artist uses acrylic and paper to create a tactile assemblage.
Brown horizontal bands rhythmically structure the space like an architectural weave. They fragment the surface and establish a dialogue between transparency and opacity.
The background reveals a mixture of earthy tones and cool touches. The sky blue and emerald green contrast with the warm ochre of the support.
Certain passages suggest organic, almost spectral forms that emerge beneath the geometric structure. The work with the material brings a physical depth to the canvas.
The balance rests on this tension between the rigor of the lines and the freedom of the pictorial gesture. Each layer of color enriches the visual reading.
The work, created in 19, explores the notion of patchwork through a play of superimposed textures. The glued paper accentuates the three-dimensional character of the whole.
