Description
This abstract composition explores matter with rigorous precision. The eye meets a chromatic field dominated by shades of deep green. A vertical band structures the space. It fragments the canvas and creates a marked visual rhythm.
The artist uses acrylic and mixed media on canvas. The work relies on the superposition of layers. The textures accumulate to suggest an organic density. Dark areas emerge in the background. They bring a sharp contrast and highlight the luminosity of the light pigments.
The rendering evokes the raw force of nature. The surface presents asperities and subtle cracks. This play of materials transforms the canvas into a tactile relief. The balance between the colored masses and the areas of shadow guides the eye toward the center of the composition. This work dated 2014 testifies to a constant search for depth and light. The square format accentuates the stability of the whole. Each detail reveals a precise technical mastery of the medium.
