Description
This acrylic painting from 1992 is part of a rigorous abstract approach. A central blue rectangle asserts itself against a dark, almost black background. This luminous area seems to float, delimited by a diffuse red outline and fine white lines.
The eye is drawn to a clear vertical shape in the center. This white line, worked in transparency, creates a mysterious depth. The superposition of pigment layers brings a subtle texture to the canvas.
The balance between cool tones and warm accents structures the space. The chromatic contrast emphasizes a tension between geometric order and free gesture.
The final rendering relies on the sobriety and precision of the line. The technical execution reveals a search for light and perception. This composition relies on the use of mixed media on canvas.
