Description
This geometric composition explores balance and symmetry with mathematical rigor. The black line, sharp and precise, structures the space on a pristine white background. A central circle attracts the eye. It is organized around a dark core reminiscent of a disk. Two yellow triangles break the chromatic neutrality. They bring a solar light and visual dynamism to the whole.
The drawing unfolds along a strict vertical axis. Fine lines converge towards the ends, creating an effect of architectural depth. The precision of the line testifies to a certain technical mastery. The contrast between the clean areas and the dense hatching paces the reading of the image.
The spatial organization evokes a technical diagram or an optical study. Each shape interlocks logically. The whole exudes an analytical serenity. This work is made with India ink on paper. It is dated 1991.
