Description
The space is structured here through a game of rigorous lines. The precise stroke of the pencil and ink defines architectural volumes. These geometric forms rise with mathematical clarity on the paper.
The contrast is established between the whiteness of the surfaces and the depth of an azure blue. This pigment, applied with chalk, evokes a distant horizon. The composition plays on verticality and the superposition of planes.
The visual balance rests on a controlled tension. The void and the full interact to suggest a serene immensity. Each segment emphasizes a search for proportion and harmony.
The technical execution testifies to a methodical and thoughtful approach. The light seems to glide over the right angles. This 197 work explores the meeting between the rigor of technical drawing and pictorial sensitivity. The final rendering is distinguished by the finesse of the hatching and the transparency of the bluish tones.
